Happy Birthday Abby-Doodle!
Three years ago today you made your way into this world and we had no idea then, how much your arrival would change our lives! You were fiesty from day one and your not showing any signs of letting up any time soon! You are the brightest little shining star and Mommy and Daddy love you SO SO much!
Happy Birthday Pumpkin!
The Princess Has Arrived…
Ms. Caroline Emily Freeman is here.
She arrived on June 11, 2007 at 8:15am. She weighed 9lbs 10oz!! and is 21 1/4 inches long. She has lots of wavy brown hair the exact color of Abby’s when she was born. We’ll have to wait and see if she keeps it or if it will turn blonde like Abby’s did!
We got home from the hospital yesterday afternoon and are enjoying being home! Caroline is such a good baby, she rarely cries and is very tolerant of Abby poking and prodding her all day long. She already adores her big sister. We love seeing Abby with her, it’s the sweetest thing and brings tears to my eyes!
I’ve uploaded some additional pictures to thefreemans.shutterfly.com , we’ll try to update it regularly.
Monday is the Big Day!
So we have 3 more days until there’s a tiny baby in our lives again! I’m definitely very excited, but I feel so overwhelmed also! It seems like life was so much simpler three years ago when we were getting ready for Abigail’s arrival. I’ve been washing clothes sterilizing bottles/toys etc, and it seems like there’s not enough room for all of this new “baby stuff” on top of all of Abby’s “stuff”. I know it will all fall into place after we get home from the hospital, but everything feels so up in there air right now! I can’t wait for her to be here, and for all of us to get settled into some kind of a routine. Life is about to change again for all of us around here, and I’m ready for it! I’d just like for it to happen so I can change with it!
Anyway, enough of my hormone induced ramblings! Monday, 6/11/07, is the Big Day! We have to be at the hospital at 6am, and my C-Section is scheduled for 8am! Baby Freeman (yeah… we’re still working on a name) should be here shortly after that! Stay tuned for an update! Bill will post pictures as soon as he can. We’re all very excited to meet this little girl, Abby especially! I can’t wait to see their relationship, now and in the future! I think Abby is going to be an excellent Big Sister! I feel so blessed and lucky to have such a wonderful family!
Abby’s Sunflower
Abby planted a sunflower seed a few months ago, and her flower FINALLY bloomed! She’s been very diligent about checking on her sunflower everyday since we planted it in the ground, so needesss to say, she’s been very happy that it is finally a flower and it’s been really fun watching her care for it and water it. Here are a few pictures of it’s progress… We wish we had started taking pictures earlier…
The Newest Pictures of Baby Freeman
We had an ultrasound this morning and got some new pictures of the baby! At the end of the scan, they flipped on the 3D and we got some really cool shots! Mommy thinks this baby looks just like Abby, but we’ll have to wait and see! I’m 31 weeks 5 days doday! This pregnancy is flying by! She’s going to be here before we know it! Hopefully we’ll figure out a name for her before then!

Snow In Surprise!
We were at our neighbors house watching the football game today, and we looked outside and saw what looked like rain coming down, but something was different about it, the kids started to migrate outside because even rain is a rarity here, so they thought it was fun, but as soon as they got out, they yelled inside that it was snowing! Bill, of course had to run across the street to our house to take pictures, so here are a few. It was really fun to see in person, I still can’t believe that it snowed! So much for Global Warming!![]()

Abby The Gymnast
Well. not quite… Not yet at least, but Abby did start a new class at The Little Gym today! She absolutely loved it. We did a trial class, because the last “dance” class she took a few months ago was horrible and she absolutely hated it, we didn’t even stay until the end because she was so out of control/bored. I was worried I was in for some of the same today, but this was completely different and we’ll definitely be signing up for the semester. She had a blast the whole time and couldn’t wait to come home to tell Daddy all about it. Now she can’t wait until next week to go “play” again. She really had a lot of fun and Mommy did too! Next time I might bring the camera and get some shots of her in action! (more…)
Ultrasound Today
We had our first real ultrasound today. The baby looked to have all the pieces that a baby should have and was pretty active in there. We’ll post more details later but here is a picture of the little peanut.
Another Little Freeman!
On October 27th we found out that there will be a new addition to the family in June! That’s right, Abby will be a big sister on or around June 22, 2007. Cathleen and the baby are doing well.
Abby thinks that there are babies in her tummy now too. She pulls up her shirt and says, “My babies are kicking.” ![]()
We’ve put up this new site to keep everyone updated. We’re going for an ultrasound next week so maybe we’ll have pictures to show!
